Good Neighbours Network

Alton Community Care Good Neighbours Network

Alton Community Care is a member of the Good Neighbours Network (GNN) in Hampshire.  The GNN is a network of more than a hundred voluntary organisations in the county.  It is organised and funded by the Church of England Diocese of Portsmouth.  For more information, see the GNN web site.

This provides extra support and services, especially during power cuts or supply interruptions.  

You can join the Priority Services Register if anyone in your household

  • is of pensionable age
  • is disabled or has a long-term medical condition
  • is recovering from an injury or illness
  • has a hearing or sight condition
  • has a mental health condition
  • is pregnant or has children aged under five years
  • relies on medical equipment than needs a power supply
  • has extra communication needs
  • has experienced a recent bereavement, break-up or job loss
